Deconstruction, Faith Transitions & Spiritual Trauma
Religion, faith and spiritual communities are often parts of us that are held dearly. When something happens to shake those beliefs and belonging, it can be very disorienting, and even life altering.
Your experience is real, and it’s important to talk about.
Whether you are deconstructing, embracing the exvangelical label, or looking to pursue a genuine faith that aligns with who you are, therapy can provide a neutral space for you to unpack your experiences, and contend with your beliefs and spiritual identities. Together we can explore your doubts, emotions, and values, and help you navigate the complexities of shifting established beliefs. The path forward is different for everyone, but you don’t have to go through it alone.

Parenting Therapy
Trying to find help for your kids but hitting a wall? Why parenting therapy instead of child therapy? While finding a therapist for your child might be what you're looking for - consider finding a therapist for yourself instead.
Imagine creating a relationship with your child in which YOU are their source of peace, trust and support. Don't outsource that role to someone else.
I want to help your kids by helping you. I want you to be the one your kid confides in. I want you to know how to help them in moments that feel overwhelming and impossible. Together we can explore the parent/child relationship, try to understand where your parenting values and priorities come from, and help you craft the kind of relationship you want to have with your child.

Therapy for Anxiety
I often refer to anxiety as the ‘common cold’ of mental health. Everyone gets it, but can experience it in varying intensities. Anxiety is one of the most well-researched mental health challenges, and there is strong evidence for how to best treat it. Therapy for anxiety integrates evidence-based techniques and mindfulness practices with an understanding of each client’s unique experience. Together we will learn about how your brain and body experience anxiety, develop coping strategies, and challenge thought patterns to put you in charge of your anxiety.

Prenatal & Postpartum Therapy
Prenatal and Postpartum therapy recognizes the unique transitions, conflicting feelings, and difficult thought patterns that expectant and new parents experience. Therapy provides a safe space to explore the wide variety of joys, struggles, grief, and anxieties of the perinatal and postpartum period. We can help alleviate feelings of isolation, anxiety and depression, and help caregivers be empowered to embrace their roles with confidence and wholeness.
-
Grief Therapy
Grief is a long, overwhelming, and complicated journey. Therapy for grieving clients offers a space where clients can unpack their emotions, feel their sorrow, and imagine what life might look like going forward. Grief must be felt and experienced at a unique pace. During therapy, we can find solace in sharing stories, learning ways to cope, and rediscovering joy and life amidst heartache. Therapy for grief offers not only a support system, but also the reminder that even in the darkest of moments, there is a path toward healing and embracing life once again.

Therapy in Nature Pop-Ups
Therapy in Nature Pop-Ups are your typical therapy session, but outside in nature. This could mean finding a place to sit and be still or finding a trail to walk during your session. The sensory experiences of fresh air, natural light, and the sounds of nature can reduce anxiety and stress, while physical activities like walking or hiking can release endorphins, boosting mood. The experience of being outside during a therapy session lets us incorporate nature in a way that can feel really meaningful and therapeutic.

Group Therapy
Group therapy is a really unique and collaborative approach to therapy. Participants gain more than just guidance from a licensed therapist — they also gain insight from one another. In group therapy, you can find solidarity in your struggles, learn new ways of coping, and build confidence through shared experience.
Group therapy is offered on a rolling basis - when there are enough participants ready to start, a new group will launch. If you’re interested in being part of group therapy, fill out the Group Therapy Interest Form, and I’ll be in touch.
